Recovery from Total Hip Replacement

Wednesday, May 18th, four weeks to the day after surgery, I returned to the YMCA to get back to my exercise regimen. I had been doing three sessions of specific exercises a day at home, prescribed by the PT, and continue to do those, but now I can begin to use the machines and pool again.

Trip to Crete

Bill and Suzanne visit Crete and find a village (Kontopoulos) in Keramies, a region that includes the city of Chania, where several people with the family name of “Boulitsakis” live. This is the original surname before it was changed to Pappas when my father immigrated to the United States.
